Art is not just for artists and art lovers but for people of all walks of life. Involvement with art and creative activities has proven health benefits and can strengthen the fabric of communities.

This concept is what drives the textile artist, Anne Barton de Mayor, to open the doors of her rambling old house in Villafranca del Cid (Spain) occasionally to neighbours, artists and visitors as an alternative art venue – Abadía Seven – where they can enjoy, share and take part in collective art, exhibitions and creative workshops.

The response always exceeds expectations.
